Joe Biden is Gone, The Criminal Cases Mount against Hunter Biden, Donald Trump is King for a Week and no one speaks about the millions of Americans made homeless

Dear Readers,

If you are an American, please, do not read this letter. There are few things more annoying than a foreigner telling you about your own country.

For everyone else, this is an important letter to read. Much of the media coverage of America, particularly in an election year, is biased nonsense or outright lies.

Foreign journalists usually stay in America for only a few years. They live in an enclave of Washington, Brooklyn or Los Angeles, the American equivalents of Islington, Rockcliffe, Rosemont, Rosedale or the 7th Arrondissement. They are surrounded by and only meet like-minded people. Thus they cannot answer basic questions like “Why do so many intelligent people vote for Donald Trump?” or “What issue makes Americans the most worried?”, or “Why do so many Americans hate wars but love guns?”

The other sad, and more ominous, reason that foreign coverage of America is so wrong is that lots of foreign journalists lie. They lie for all kinds of reasons: corporate ambition (writing that Donald Trump has told the truth about a particular issue is career suicide in most European newsrooms), anti-Americanism, supporting the agenda of the globalist 1%ers or just sheer laziness.

The truth is that there are lots of very clever people in America who vote for all kinds of people or express ideas that would be anathema to an outsider. They are owed respect. They are owed understanding. You are owed a true explanation of these issues.

These letters are my attempt to explain the politics, people and society of the United States.

I am an outsider, living inside America. I may make errors but I will not lie to you. I am not a Trump supporter or a Biden Democrat. I have no political soft soap to sell you. My only motivation is a desire to explain this great continent of a country and its people.

Kristoph Aranda cried

The tears rolled slowly down his tough, tanned face.

The police were evicting Kristopher Aranda because did not have the $3,000 dollars to pay his rent. His girlfriend died of cancer a few months before. The lease for their apartment was in her name. Aranda had quit his job to care for the woman he loved. The medical bills ate up all their savings. She died. Now, he is on the streets.

Kristoph Aranda lives in Phoenix, Arizona - the eviction capital of America. Every month, another five-hundred families there are put out on the street as the landlords increase their rents.

Yet it is not so out of the ordinary in this country. Last year, 3.6 million eviction notices were served on Americans.

Bernie Sanders, the former progressive presidential candidate, declared that 1 out of 4 cancer patients either lost their homes or declared bankruptcy as a result of medical debt.

Yet, Sanders aside, you will not hear much about these kinds of issues from the corporate media on the presidential campaign. Every day on our screens we hear lots of platitudes, lots of “standing up to Putin in Ukraine”, lots of “restoring America’s position in the rest of the world” but very little about the hundreds-of-thousands of people who died in the pharmaceutical industry created Oxycontin epidemic or the millions of homeless people or the tens-of-millions of people without health care.

Joe Biden is gone

He will resign as the President of the United States of America.

Biden will give a moving speech. You know the form, something read from the teleprompter about giving-his-all-for-his-country-yet-the-time-has-come-to-pass -the-torch-to-the-next-generation.

This speech will come, have no doubt about it. If you a Democratic Presidential candidate you cannot have political barons like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, cultural icons like George Clooney and the secular bible of the Democratic Party - the New York Times - all telling you to resign.

Worse you cannot have so many prominent party funders telling you the same. American politics is run by and for powerful corporations who fund this world. Last week, a host of powerful Silicon Valley types got together to sip Perrier water and discuss when /how Joe Biden should resign and, most importantly, who should replace him. The invite list was a whose-who of the American corporate power world. If you had a deep state, the meeting pretty much showed one significant section of it.

A Presidential contender cannot have so much of his funding base and senior colleagues publicly telling him to quit without him having to fall on his sword.

So Biden is going.

Why then does the Biden faction have their man remain in the White House? Part of the reason is because of something that is well-known here but not particularly followed outside the country - the number of really troubling criminal cases against the Biden Family.

Here are the undeniable facts from these cases:

1. Joe Biden’s son - Hunter - along with the son of the former Secretary of State - John Kerry received millions of dollars from Chinese government linked companies. They received some of these payments while their fathers were in office.

2. At roughly the same time in Ukraine, Hunter Biden was being paid $50,000 a month to sit on the board of directors of Burisma a company linked by prosecutors to corruption allegations. His son had no experience in the energy sector. His father, Joe Biden, boasted publicly that he had ensured the prosecutor investigating the company was fired.

These are simple facts. Sadly, they have been over-laid by Democratic media operatives claiming that this financial linkage to his son was all about Joe Biden supporting an addiction-plagued family member.

Republican journalists who uncovered these cases do not get long-term focus from their side of the media. Rather the next week, day or media-cycle, Republican journalists write what they regard as sensational stories about a Democratic politician forgetting to wear a flag pin or salute a soldier.

However, there is a massive criminal tax case against Hunter Biden coming down the legal pipeline in California. The court documents allege that the Biden Family operated an outrageous scheme of conflict of interest if not outright corruption from the very White House. Note - in writing the story above, I cite only these court documents rather than any of the politically influenced reporting. The legal papers are very clear and make for very interesting reading.

Thus, the Biden Family needs an exit strategy. They need the kind of deal that got Russian President Boris Yeltsin to hand over power to Vladimir Putin in the corruption plagued days of post-Soviet Russia, when Yeltsin family members had looted the Russian version of Fort Knox, yet where never prosecuted.

Someone, somewhere is negotiating such a deal with the power brokers of the Democratic Party. Some form of ex-Presidential immunity so that Joe Biden can walk peacefully away from power with his family members protected.

These negotiations may be helped now that Joe Biden’s de facto Chief of Staff is Hunter Biden, the son linked with all those controversial corporate deals.

Donald Trump Would Be King

“A week is a long time in politics,” was the motto of the wily Labour prime minister Harold Wilson. He is right. Much can happen in a few days that can utterly transform political campaigns.

One example, during the recent UK election, the then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, left a D-Day commemoration early to do a media interview. His apparent disrespect to veterans and the memories of the Second World War, doomed his campaign in minutes let alone Wilson’s week.

If the US Presidential election were to be held today, Trump would sweep almost every state in the country.

His iconic photo post-shooting, blood on his face, fist raised - is everywhere in this country. Most neutral voters are deeply moved by the image. Friends who were studiously non-partisan tell me that they are now switching to Trump.

It is all in contrast with a desperately sick Joe Biden. Yesterday, he declared he had Covid, along with his long-term dementia.

Yet, a week is a long time. Once Biden goes, as he will, the Democrats have a chance to bring the campaign back to issues that are important to people like Kristoph Aranda and the ills that plague America. Then this election could get even more interesting.

Meanwhile, Kristopher Aranda is on the streets along with millions of other Americans.
